AUGUST 2013
Beta late than never - 2nd round of testing gets underway!
by Logan, published: 12/08/2013
After the appearance of a new board named '3.0 BETA Testing' appeared on the forums to a select few, hype began to build up as they took this as an indication of an imminent beta release. The hype was finally put to rest when a topic was posted on the big day, listing information detailing how to connect to the testing server. So far, players have been thoroughly testing the gamemode, reporting any errors and bugs to the forum, a few of which have already been corrected, and also making suggestions on how to improve the features being tested.
One major addition has been that of player houses and vehicles, which also resulted in a new 'Housing Island', which features exciting locations, such as a stunt park, housing skyscraper and airport, which can all be seen in the gallery below.
The new version of the website has also been revealed, albeit not yet appearing to be fully functional. It showcases new features to assist in making organisations, events, airlines and flights an integral part of gameplay.
As more bugs are found and quickly fixed, a polished release of Flights 3.0, ready for the public, draws ever closer. We look forward to continue bringing you more news regarding testing, and soon enough, a full release. Stay tuned for more.
